12 projets inspirants récompensés pour leur engagement en faveur des Solutions Fondées sur la Nature !
Pour la 3ᵉ année consécutive, le jury national des Solutions Fondées sur la Nature a distingué les lauréats dans le cadre de la mesure 30 du Plan Eau.
Parmi 34 projets de restauration, renaturation de cours d’eau, végétalisation ou désimperméabilisations, 12 initiatives exemplaires ont été sélectionnées pour leur contribution à :
✔ Réduire les risques d’inondations et de sécheresses
✔ Améliorer la qualité de l’eau et la biodiversité
✔ Adapter les territoires au changement climatique
why do oceans matter
The oceans have absorbed about 90% of the warming that our planet has experienced in the past 50 years. From phytoplankton, coral reefs, mangroves, and seagrass to whales and sharks, marine organisms trap and store atmospheric carbon and ultimately transport it via food webs to the deep sea for long-term storage. Marine ecosystems are natural climate regulators, but industrial levels of fishing, climate inaction, and other anthropogenic actions are seeing society using up the ocean's resources at a faster rate than they can naturally recover.
